Brooklyn cracks $125M in one week of luxury contracts
While the New York Knicks were dropping dimes during their NBA championship run, wealthy buyers in Brooklyn were dropping dollars on expensive homes. The borough saw 30 contracts — 12 condos, one co-op, 17 single-family homes — signed last week for $126 million for homes asking at least $2 million, according to Compass’ weekly contracts report. The previous week saw 25 contracts signed for $81 million.
