Tishman readying for NYU exit at Midtown tower
New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate could soon be on the move, along with the rest of the institution’s School of Professional Studies. The university’s 117,000-square-foot lease at 11 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan is set to expire in June. The school doesn’t intend to renew the lease, according to Bisnow, which cited special servicer commentary recorded in Morningstar Credit. Things could change, but the writing appears to be on the wall, as Tishman is already bringing prospective tenants in to check out the space.
