To get to the Edge, you take an elevator from the fourth floor of the shopping mall at 30 Hudson Yards to the ear-popping 101st. The observation deck is actually on the 100th floor, where you take a small set of stairs down to a glass-enclosed space, which offers sweeping views safe from the whipping winds.
