RFR back as buyer, purchases UES retail condo for $57M
Aby Rosen’s RFR has recently faced some difficulty keeping possession of iconic New York buildings, but the firm has found its luxury footing with an Upper East Side retail purchase. RFR acquired the condo at 841 Madison Avenue on East 70th Street from Status Capital and the Safra-associated JSRE Acquisitions for $57 million, the Commercial Observer reported. The deal for the 18,000-square-foot property breaks down to $3,167 per square foot.
