Mitch Kossoff gets early prison release
Mitch Kossoff, the now-disbarred real estate attorney who stole millions from his clients, will get out of prison early after serving a little more than four years. Kossoff, 72, has been incarcerated at the Groveland Correctional Facility in Western New York since May of 2022 after he was sentenced to up to 13.5 years in prison for stealing more than $14.6 million. Kossoff went before the parole board in June and was approved for early release, according to a spokesperson for the state Department of Corrections.
