Manhattan luxury contracts buck late summer slump

Manhattan’s luxury market bucked the seasonal slowdown last week.  Buyers signed contracts for 21 homes in the borough asking $4 million or more between July 27 and Aug. 2, according to Olshan Realty’s report. The total was up from just 18 deals inked in the previous period and, while below some of this year’s earlier highs, well above the nine contracts signed during the same week in 2025.
