As the new development pipeline across New York City wanes, the Upper East Side is getting a much-need boost. Earlier this week, Victor Sigoura’s Legion Investment Group announced it was teaming up with SMA Equities to launch a new residential project on the corner of 84th Street and Third Avenue, backed by a $99 million loan from BDT & MSD Partners. The developers have released few details about the project, though it adds to Legion’s strong track record in the neighborhood, including 109 East 79th Street and 1122 Madison Avenue.
