Waterfront Westport estate snags $45M in record sale
A pair of neighboring waterfront properties spanning more than 13 acres set a new record for the tony Connecticut enclave of Westport. Together, the Beachside Avenue plots sold for $45 million, according to listing agent Leslie Clarke of Compass. The sellers, former commodity trader Andrew Bentley and his wife Fiona Garland, built the sprawling waterfront home on 120-122 Beachside Avenue and commissioned a 75-foot pool on the neighboring property, along with a contemporary barn.
