Proposed UES mansion tops Manhattan’s luxury contracts
Another megamansion is coming to the Upper East Side, and an inked deal for the property topped Manhattan’s luxury market before it’s even combined. The gutted property at 34-36 East 70th Street, asking $24.5 million, was the priciest of 29 homes in the borough asking $4 million or more to land signed contracts last week, according to Olshan Realty. The total, which dropped below 30 for the first time in six weeks, was down from 34 in the previous period.
