Pair of townhouses leads Brooklyn’s luxury contracts
A pair of townhouses topped Brooklyn’s luxury market last week. In total, the borough saw 20 deals — seven condos, three co-ops, 10 single-family homes — for a total contract volume of $71 million, according to Compass’ weekly report for contracts signed on homes asking at least $2 million from April 6 to April 12. The previous week saw 26 deals signed for $79 million. The median asking price for deals signed last week was $2.7 million and the average asking price per square foot was $1,434.
