Developer Michael Stern is going to court to try to unmask an anonymous online troll. The JDS Development Group founder filed a petition on Monday in New York State Supreme Court, seeking to uncover the identity of the operator of a website and social media accounts that he claims have waged a “coordinated and sustained anonymous smear campaign” against him and his firm. Stern accuses an unidentified “John Doe” of publishing false and defamatory statements on a website called JDSPulse.com and affiliated accounts on Facebook, Instagram and X.
