Bill Ackman sells UWS co-op for $9M
Bill Ackman sold one of his two Upper West Side apartments for a steep discount. The billionaire hedge funder traded a co-op at 211 Central Park West, known as the Beresford, for $9.4 million, according to public records. The deal, down from the $13.5 million he paid for it in 2017, works out to roughly $3,200 a square foot. The Pershing Square Capital Management founder bought Unit 8F about a month before he closed on another unit on the same floor for $8.6 million.
